About Cariad Speech Therapy

Hi! I’m Ellen Pandya, and I started Cariad Speech Therapy in 2024 so I could provide reliable, independent speech and language assessments to meet every child’s individual needs.

I provide a range of services to both schools and nurseries, and directly to families privately. I also offer a free 15 minute consultation to help you decide if Cariad Speech Therapy is right for you.

From my base in Chester, I work with schools and families throughout Wirral, Flintshire, Wrexham – and of course Cheshire – and the surrounding areas. Don’t hesitate to get in touch though even if you aren’t sure if I cover your area!

Before meeting Ellen, our little girl (aged 4) would get so frustrated with practicing her sounds/words, and it was a struggle to get her to do it! Not anymore. Ellen makes it so enjoyable & fun with lots of games (no cheating involved of course) and now she looks forward to practicing at home with us as well as in school. Who I work with

At Cariad Speech Therapy, I support children aged 1-16 years who are experiencing any form of speech, language and communication difficulties, such as:

Attention and listening difficulties
Understanding of language difficulties
Processing language and auditory memory difficulties
Higher level language difficulties (inferencing, prediction and non-literal language)
Difficulties with use of language skills such as, vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar
Developmental Language Disorder (DLD)
Word retrival difficulties
Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia
Delayed or disordered speech sound production and articulation difficulties
Poor phonological awareness
Social communication difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Learning Disabilities
